The Department of Medical Education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC invites you to participate in our 23rd annual Innovations in Medical Education (IME) Online Conference on Wednesday and Thursday, February 11-12, 2026. Our online format supports the expansion of a global network of innovative health care educators, eliminates travel expenses and accommodates any travel restrictions.

Since 2003, the IME Conference has brought together a growing community of learners, teachers, scholars, and leaders from around the world working together to promote change through innovation in health professions education. Our goal is to move education in the health professions toward a higher level of excellence and well-being by providing a forum for sharing new ideas and educational innovations.

We will provide a variety of opportunities for online networking and collaboration. Formal sessions will include a keynote session, Twenty-one interactive conference workshops are designed to enhance participant skills related to teaching, mentoring/coaching, research, leadership, professional development, well-being, organizational culture, and use of artificial intelligence in health professions education. Multiple topical oral presentation sessions and a variety of synchronous and asynchronous poster sessions will provide opportunities for dissemination of participant scholarly work, live question and answer discussions, and networking in a collaborative atmosphere.

Access to the event platform, handouts, slides, and posters will be available to everyone registered for the conference for three months. Cancellation of your registration will remove access to all posted content. In the event of course cancellation by conference organizers, all registration fees will be fully refunded. All refund requests will be reviewed and processed after the conference.
