2020 USC Facial Nerve Symposium
This activity is designed for Otolaryngologists, Neurotologists, Neurologists, Facial Plastic Surgeons, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Oculoplastic Surgeons, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Advanced Practice Providers who are referred patients with facial nerve paralysis symptoms and are looking for new, successful, and innovative ways to treat these patients.
At the conclusion of the educational activity, the healthcare team will be able to:
1) Explain the current process for assessment of acute and chronic facial paralysis
2) Identify surgical and therapeutic techniques used for management of chronic facial paralysis and its sequelae
3) Outline the social impact of facial paralysis
and personal ramifications for the patient
